Lavender Eucalyptus is the operations partner for small nonprofits, mission-driven businesses, and 5 to 50 person departments inside larger agencies. We come in when you need someone to see the whole operation at once: strategy, systems, workflow, team, and technology functioning as one connected system, not as isolated pieces.
Our Mission
To bring calm and clarity to teams that are too small for a full-time COO and too complex to keep running on tribal knowledge. We help you build operations that hold up under growth, funder scrutiny, staff turnover, and the ordinary Tuesday morning when three things go sideways at once.
Who We Serve, and Who We Don’t
Who we serve:
- Small nonprofits, typically 5 to 50 staff, running multiple programs and multiple funding streams.
- Mission-driven businesses at the same scale, where operational overwhelm is starting to threaten the mission itself.
- 5 to 50 person departments inside larger agencies, where the department is complex enough to need its own operating system, distinct from the parent organization.
Who we don’t serve: enterprise organizations with full internal operations teams already in place. And any engagement scoped to a single function in isolation, like bookkeeping alone or payroll alone. In our experience, the pain shows up in one function; it lives in the operation.

Our Notion templates are the self-serve edition of the same operating philosophy. Each template is a module of one connected system, built on shared data models and naming conventions. Rooms in the same house. You can start with one room and add others as your capacity grows.
Our Story
Lavender Eucalyptus was founded by Trina Ntamere, whose career sits at the intersection of four sectors: banking, nonprofit, higher education, and government. Roles at Bank of America and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago taught her how financial systems actually behave under stress. Time at the Kellogg School of Management, including managing the Kellogg-Morgan Stanley Sustainable Investing Challenge, taught her how large institutions coordinate complex programs. Deep work with nonprofits including College Possible and Heartland Alliance taught her how mission-driven teams accomplish extraordinary things with limited capacity. Current government work adds the fourth lens: how public-sector operations balance accountability, equity, and constrained resources.
That cross-sector foundation is why Lavender Eucalyptus sees operations differently. Each sector solves for a different pressure, and the strongest practices from each translate into calmer, more resilient operations for teams that do not have the luxury of hiring a full leadership bench.
